MRI Technologist

JOB SUMMARY The MRI Technologist operates MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the body for diagnostic purposes as requested by physicians. Key Responsibilities Perform MRI procedures accurately and efficiently. Ensure patient safety and comfort during the examination. Operate and maintain MRI scanners and associated equipment. Prepare patients for MRI scans, including explaining the procedure and answering questions. Administer contrast media as directed and according to protocol. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Adhere to all safety and infection control standards. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current BLS certification. State‑specific MRI Technologist license or certification, if applicable. Certifications BLS Experience Experience performing MRI procedures. Skills Proficient in MRI operation and imaging techniques. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Ability to administer contrast media. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
