Under 10MB.Apply now## Job descriptionCommercial Operations Manager at Redwood Materials.### About the roleRedwood Materials is seeking a Commercial Operations Manager to oversee the daily functions of the Commercial Operations team. This position is key in ensuring operational efficiency in areas such as supplier onboarding, logistics, purchasing, compliance, and reporting. The successful candidate will blend leadership skills with hands-on operational tasks, acting as a vital link between various departments to facilitate effective recycling and materials management.### Key facts**Location:** Carson City, NV**Engagement:** Full-time**Team:** Commercial Operations### What you'll do* Lead and mentor a team of five Commercial Operations Specialists, promoting accountability and teamwork.* Manage task prioritization, workload distribution, and performance metrics to ensure daily operations are executed on time.* Develop standard operating procedures and training materials to enhance operational consistency and efficiency.* Collaborate with leaders from Sales, Supply Chain, IT, and Finance to identify and address workflow challenges.* Act as a point of contact and expert for supplier onboarding, purchase order management, logistics coordination, and payment issues.* Foster strong relationships with customers and suppliers by ensuring high levels of service and compliance.* Maintain organized records across CRM, ERP, and internal systems to ensure data accuracy and traceability.* Work with Accounts Payable to ensure timely processing of purchase orders and invoices.* Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track operational KPIs and provide insights to management.* Identify opportunities for process automation and system improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.* Collaborate with product and data teams to define requirements for new tools and reporting capabilities.* Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic planning.* Promote best practices for safety, compliance, and operational excellence across all initiatives.### Requirements* Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.* 5 to 7 years of experience in commercial operations, sales operations, business planning, or logistics, including a minimum of 2 years in a management role.* Background in battery materials, metals, commodities, or recycling industries is preferred.* Proven track record of managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.* Experience with ERP and CRM systems; familiarity with Oracle, Hubspot, or similar platforms is advantageous.* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.* An entrepreneurial approach with a focus on action and continuous improvement.* Commitment to sustainability and promoting the circular economy.### Nice to have* Experience with process automation and system enhancements.### Skills & tools* Proficient in ERP and CRM systems, with knowledge of Oracle and Hubspot being a plus.* Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and reporting.### Practical notes* This role may require wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.* The position is based in an office environment.* Compensation will be based on experience.We collect personal information (PI) from you in connection with your application for employment with Redwood Materials, including identifiers, personal records, professional or employment information, and inferences drawn from your PI.
