PUBLIC FINANCE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Financial Services / Specialty Finance Practice Group Locations: Atlanta, GA HYBRID (3 days/week in-office) Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 international law firm, is seeking a Public Finance Associate Attorney to support its Specialty Finance practice in Atlanta. This opportunity is ideal for an early‑career associate interested in tax‑exempt bond finance , economic development incentives , and public‑private partnerships , with exposure to sophisticated transactions involving real estate, financial services, and corporate finance. Candidate Profile JD from a top‑tier law school with an excellent academic record Active Bar Admission in Georgia , in good standing 1‑3 years of substantive transactional experience in public finance transactions Background in real estate , financial services , or corporate transactional practice Demonstrated interest in traditional tax‑exempt bond finance , economic development incentives , and public and private partnerships Excellent drafting , communication , and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders Strong attention to detail and a proactive, client‑service‑oriented mindset Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents and related transaction materials Manage deal workflows , including coordination with internal teams, clients, and third‑party participants to ensure timely execution Interface directly with clients , lenders, and other deal participants Support senior attorneys on public finance and specialty finance transactions Assist with business development initiatives and client relationship management efforts Why Join Us?
