Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology in Illinois
• ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress or completed
• Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply; Spanish proficiency highly valued
• Exceptional ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other team members
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in middle school students
• Develop individualized therapy plans and implement evidence-based interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in student support meetings, IEP development, and interdisciplinary team collaborations
• Consult with parents and staff to support communicative success in the academic setting
• Foster an inclusive, nurturing environment that values diversity and multicultural awareness
