About Us
Superior Janitorial Services (SJS) provides commercial janitorial and porter services to property managers, HOAs, and commercial facilities across the DMV. We're growing, and we're looking for a driven sales professional to help lead that growth.
The Role
As our Account Manager, you'll own the full sales cycle, from finding new prospects and walking properties to closing the deal and handing the account off to our operations team. You'll spend most of your time in the field building relationships with property managers and decision-makers, and you'll help keep our existing clients happy and growing.
What You'll Do
- Find and pursue new commercial accounts through cold outreach, canvassing, referrals, networking, and industry associations
- Conduct on-site walkthroughs to assess scope, square footage, frequency, and special requirements
- Work with our office to build accurate, competitive proposals, then present them and negotiate terms within approved pricing
- Close new service agreements and hand off new accounts smoothly to the office and Area Supervisor
- Check in with new clients in their first weeks of service to make sure everything is off to a strong start
- Maintain relationships with existing clients, protect renewals, and find upsell opportunities such as added service days, porter services, special projects, and additional properties
- Track leads, walkthroughs, proposals, and closes, and report regularly on pipeline and results
- Share market feedback and competitive intel with management
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience (janitorial, facilities, property services, or other recurring commercial services strongly preferred)
- Existing relationships with property managers or property management companies in the NoVA/DMV market are a big plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM or pipeline-tracking tools
- Self-motivated, organized, and persistent with follow-up
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
