Content Creator

Are you a creative writer who enjoys storytelling and creating engaging digital content? We’re looking for two volunteers to help us tell the stories of our rescue dogs and create content that inspires people to adopt, foster, and support our work.

What you’ll do

• Write website copy, blog articles, and landing page content.
• Create engaging captions and written content for social media.
• Support email newsletters and fundraising campaigns.
• Work with our SEO and paid advertising teams on content needs.
• Help develop content ideas and maintain a consistent tone across channels.
• Turn rescue updates and adoption stories into compelling, accessible content.

What we’re looking for

• Some writing or content creation experience, whether through professional work, studies, volunteering, blogging, or personal projects.
• Strong written English, good grammar, and an ability to write clearly and engagingly.
• Basic knowledge of SEO writing and keyword optimization is a plus.
• Familiarity with content management systems, Canva, or AI-assisted writing tools is helpful.
• An interest in storytelling and the ability to adapt writing for websites, social media, and email.
• Someone creative, open to feedback, comfortable meeting deadlines, and able to reliably dedicate around 10 hours per week.

A little about volunteering with us

This is an unpaid, remote volunteer opportunity with flexible scheduling. We understand that everyone has other commitments, but we’re looking for people who can consistently contribute the agreed hours, communicate openly, and take ownership of their work. You don’t need to know everything from day one. We value reliability, initiative, and a willingness to learn just as much as experience.
