PATIENT CARE TECH PRN

Patient Care AssistantProvides patient care activities under the direction of Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Practical Nurse.Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:High school graduate or GED preferred.Completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant program OR be listed as having passed CNA competency testing on the Iowa Direct Care Worker registry. May be certified as a medic or Combat Lifesaver (through military duty) or have EMS certification as a base provider.Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required.
