The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to patient care and teamwork.Responsibilities\n \n Perform catheterization procedures including left heart catheterization (LHC), right heart catheterization (RHC), and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).\n Assist with structural cardiology procedures and various advanced techniques such as Impella, IABP, and ECMO.\n Utilize specialized equipment including Siemens Artiz Z & Q, Philips Volcano IVUS, and Shockwave devices.\n Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care and support during diagnostic and interventional procedures.\n Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety protocols.\n Schedule\n \n 3x12 hour shifts from 08:30 to 20:30.\n Weekend shifts required once every 4-5 weeks, from Friday evening to Monday morning.\n Participate in on-call rotation, including 2 weekday nights and weekend responsibilities.\n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting, with competence in all diagnostic and interventional procedures.\n Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT(BD), and ARRT(R).\n Experience with adult cardiology and structural cardiology patient diagnoses is essential.\n Prior experience with a variety of procedures such as CTO, TAVR, Watchman, and shockwave therapy is highly preferred.\n Must possess a valid West Virginia license, and pending licenses may be submitted with the assurance of having an active license upon assignment start.\n Must not hold RCIS or RCES credentials, as these are not recognized for Cath Lab roles.\n Additional Information\n \n Average daily census: 35-45 patients.\n Staffing ratios: 1:1.\n Free parking for all staff members.\n Charting utilizing Cerner EHR.\n \n Join our dedicated team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients through your expertise in Cath Lab procedures.\n \n Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID #37761410.
