Quick Lube Manager | PittStop 10 Minute Oil Change | Akron, OH

Pay: $50,000 to $65,000 per year based on experience, plus possible monthly performance bonuses of $250 to $700 and per-service incentive pay
Schedule: Full-time, 46 to 50 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. Open availability required. No Sundays.

About Us

PittStop 10 Minute Oil Change is a locally owned quick lube business with four locations in Northeast Ohio. We operate as consultants: we bring vehicle knowledge to the customer so they can make informed decisions about their car. We are growing, and we need a manager who runs a clean, fast shop and builds trust with every customer.

What You’ll Do

• Run daily operations at our Akron location: opening and closing, and keeping bays moving

• Recruit, interview, and hire technicians and shop staff

• Train new hires and coach your team to deliver the same honest, educational service on every ticket

• Lead and hold your team accountable for attendance, quality, and customer service

• Perform oil changes and routine services when needed, and hold your team to the same standard

• Inspect vehicles, explain what you find in plain language, and present service options so the customer can decide

• Handle customer concerns and keep service quality and reviews high

• Manage inventory of oil, filters, parts, and supplies, and place orders as needed

• Keep the shop clean, organized, and compliant with safety and waste-handling requirements

• Reconcile daily sales and deposits accurately

• Report to ownership on sales, labor, and staffing

What We’re Looking For

• 1 or more years of supervisory or management experience (quick lube, automotive, or retail/service)

• Experience interviewing, hiring, and training staff

• Working knowledge of oil changes, fluids, filters, and basic vehicle maintenance

• Ability to explain vehicle needs clearly and coach a team to do the same

• Ability to hold people accountable and keep a team showing up on time

• Open availability, Monday through Saturday, for 46 to 50 hours per week (no Sundays)

• Comfortable with POS systems and basic computer use

• Strong customer service skills

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a garage environment, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Reliable and able to pass a background check

Nice to Have

• Prior quick lube management experience

• Experience with inventory ordering or payroll inputs

What We Offer

• $50,000 to $65,000 annual pay, based on experience

• Monthly performance bonuses of $250 to $700 for meeting location sales goals

• Per-service incentive pay on upgrades and add-ons (oil upgrades, air filters, wiper blades, fluid services, etc.)

• Company HSA contribution of $25 per week ($1,300 per year, with enrollment in a high deductible health plan)
