Job Title: Registered Nurse – Stepdown
Location: Boone, North Carolina
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• MUST HAVE a minimum of 2 years of recent IMCU/Telemetry RN experience.
• MUST HAVE 2 years of travel nursing experience.
• MUST HAVE an active North Carolina RN license or Compact RN license.
• MUST HAVE recent EPIC EMR experience/proficiency.
• MUST BE proficient in Telemetry.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Must be comfortable caring for occasional pediatric patients.
• Traveler must be willing to float to MedSurg based on patient census and staffing needs.
• Traveler must be available to work up to 2 weekends per month and required holidays.
• Block scheduling may be considered if requested before the assignment begins (not guaranteed).
• Patient ratio: 5:1 (goal 4:1).
• Average daily census: 20–24 patients (24-bed unit).
