Job Title: Lead, Systems Engineering - DSP The Lead, Systems Engineer, will be responsible for working within an Integrated Product Team responsible for specialized signal processing systems for a diverse customer base. This team works closely with customers to gain insight into real-world needs, priorities, and obtains operational feedback to provide the best system solutions for our users. This position requires a highly skilled engineer interested in product innovation to design and implement complex and challenging C/ C++ DSP software solutions for the team's products and many programs. 10% travel based on business needs. ~ Develop algorithms requiring a strong mathematical background with a firm understanding of advanced modulation techniques and digital communications theory as well as Digital RF related time and frequency domain transforms, filters, convolutions, networks, and structures. ~ Convert algorithms to real-time, reusable DSP C/C++ code that is compliant with an existing system architecture. ~ Integrate developed DSP software into system architecture and code base. ~ Optimize software to meet processing limitations of hardware resources. ~ Ensure developed software provides solutions that perform in the customer's operational environment. ~ Work closely with team members to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, as well as operational performance requirements. ~ Strong multi-threaded programming skills. ~ Working in a Linux development environment. ~ Network socket programming. ~ Software Defined Radio experience. ~ Al/ML and Shell scripting. ~ FPGA experience. ~ Ability to work with flexible goals or shifting priorities. ~ Active US TS/SCI security clearance. Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of C/C++ development of real time digital signal processing applications experience. Graduate Degree with 7 years of C/C++ development of real time digital signal processing applications experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of C/C++ development of real time digital signal processing applications experience.
