Quality Chemical Engineer

Responsibilities Qualification of all ECI products, ensuring successful process qualification of systems per specifications. Review and validate all chemical packages and qualification data. Escalate data that fails qualification requirements and create deviation reports for approval. Follow qualification plans and pre‑ and post‑procedures. Review, complete and verify documentation for chemical specifications; communicate revisions and changes. Coordinate during configuration to ensure systems are correctly configured based on specific chemistry requirements. Ensure all non‑conformances (NC) are properly documented and closed with solutions. Apply relevant metrology concepts and techniques to understand all system processes. Troubleshoot systems independently to complete projects on time. Take ownership of systems and complete work within due dates. Review data against specifications and correct systems database for mismatches. Mix chemicals using different volumes and multiple types of chemistry per procedure. Perform all job duties safely and maintain good housekeeping in the working area and chemical mixing area. Qualifications Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members. Ability to multi‑task across projects/reports, work independently and focus on details. Experience interpreting engineering diagrams for troubleshooting and parts identification. Experience in chemical analytical techniques such as voltammetry, HPLC, ICP, titration and related methods. Experience in chemical handling, interpreting SDS/MSDS and maintaining on‑job safety. Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree and 0 years related work experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years related experience. Schedule Day shift: 8:00AM–4:30PM. Late shift: 12:00PM–8:30PM (rotates into late shift for one full week at a time, typically once every 3–4 weeks). Weekend on‑call coverage shared among the team, generally one weekend per month as needed. Location & Compensation Primary location: USA – NJ – Totowa – KLA.
