Bus Aide

Glendive Public Schools is seeking dependable and caring individuals to serve as Bus Aides, helping ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation to and from school and activities. This is a great opportunity to support students and make a meaningful impact each day.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise and support student behavior on the school bus
• Assist the bus driver with loading and unloading students safely
• Assist the driver as needed during routes and activities
• Help ensure a safe, respectful, and orderly bus environment

What We're Looking For:

• Dependable and responsible individuals
• Ability to pass background check
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to follow instructions and work closely with a bus driver
• Comfort working with students, including those with special needs
• Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain confidentiality

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move frequently in a bus environment
• Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions

Work Environment:

• Active role on moving school buses
• Moderate to loud noise levels
• Ensure student safety and well-being
