Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Notes: 36 hour guarantee Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend Job Description: The Cardiovascular Registered Nurse utilizes clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. The RN is a vital member of the Cardiovascular Unit (CVU), which cares for a large volume of cardiology patients annually, including procedures such as PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers. This unit also discharges a significant number of open heart surgery patients and specializes in the care of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies. The CVU supports clinical research through collaboration with a research department managing various national clinical trials.
