Evening General Radiologist

Jefferson Radiology is seeking a Remote Evening Diagnostic Radiologist to join their growing practice in Connecticut. This full-time position offers flexible scheduling options for swing shifts, covering mid-afternoon to late evening EST hours. The role involves interpreting studies in emergency settings, including Level I trauma centers, with a focus on acute inpatient studies.

Practice Info

• Remote position based in Connecticut
• Part of a 90+ physician sub-specialty group practice with 400+ non-physician staff members
• Covers multiple imaging centers, community hospitals, and tertiary-academic centers
• Utilizes a unified, enterprise PACS with home workstations and cloud-based system with AI tools
• Maintains subspecialized support for complex or unfamiliar cases
• Supports a 20-person radiology residency program

Responsibilities

• Interpret studies in emergency settings, including Level I trauma center studies in an urban setting
• Cover after-hours Emergency Department, inpatient, and STAT examinations
• Cover non-emergent ambulatory general radiology and ambulatory radiology specific to appropriate sub-specialty training (Body, MSK, Neuro) as a component of swing shift volume
• Develop new programs and consider extensive network collaborations

Compensation

• Highly competitive compensation package
• Salary range for this position is $400,000-$650,000
• Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus

Shift & Schedule

• Swing/Overlapping Shift
• Full-time (30+ hrs/week)
• Flexible scheduling options
• Swing shift reading hours can be flexible, covering mid-afternoon to late evening EST hours (4pm-12am)
• 7on/7off or 7on/14off
• Monday through Sunday

Requirements

• Comfortable interpreting studies in emergency settings
• MD or DO
• BE or BC, ABR or AOBR
• Residency Trained, ACGME Accredited Diagnostic Radiology Program
• Fellowship training preferred, in either Body, MSK, Neuro, or ER
• Leadership abilities and interest would be considered an asset
• Practice will assist in obtaining licenses in Connecticut
