Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location: Maryville, TN

Job Type: Contract

Shift: 3x12 Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients requiring telemetry monitoring and specialized medical-surgical care. This unit primarily cares for Stroke/TIA patients while also managing higher-acuity medical patients.

Required Qualifications

Active Tennessee RN License
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Current NIHSS Certification
Minimum 1 Year of Recent MS/Tele Experience
Minimum 1 Year of Epic Experience Required
No First-Time Travelers
Experience with Adult and Geriatric Patients

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Monitor telemetry and cardiac patients.
Care for patients with Stroke/TIA, CHF, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Dialysis needs, Chest Pain, and Neurological conditions.
Administer medications and treatments safely.
Provide patient and family education.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Float to other units based on skill set and staffing needs.
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic.
Follow patient safety and infection control standards.
