Joint Ventures Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our onsite rehabilitation facility located in Highland Park, New Jersey. This position is a full-time opportunity, offering a competitive annual salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients' musculoskeletal conditions through comprehensive assessments, utilizing established orthopedic protocols and testing methods.
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans tailored to each patient's recovery goals, preventing disabilities and enhancing mobility.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants during the execution of treatment plans, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Perform hands-on therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and the application of modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Document patient progress with detailed clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to regulatory standards such as OASIS.
• Conduct home evaluations to recommend modifications that support the client's rehabilitation and to ensure safety during treatment.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies, share insights, and collaborate on treatment plans.
• Maintain open communication with patients and their families, educating them about the rehabilitation process and promoting adherence to therapy.
• Provide ongoing assessments and modify treatments based on patient responses, proactively addressing any concerns or changes in condition.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and help in training new staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the facility.

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, trauma, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and functionality. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally within a home care or acute care environment.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, with CPR certification in good standing.
• A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance, as travel between facilities may be necessary.
