Sr. Technical Business Systems Analyst

About This Job Axos Clearing LLC is hiring a Technical Business Systems Analyst (TBA). The position is on-site at our headquarters in San Diego, California. Compensation and Bonuses Target Salary: $100,000.00 per year – $130,000.00 per year (actual starting pay will vary based on location, experience, skills, specialty, and education). Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10% (may be awarded semi‑annually based on performance goals). Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10% (may be awarded semi‑annually based on performance goals). Responsibilities Develop strategies for optimization to improve efficiency and productivity across all systems. Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Architecture Team, to document high‑level technical specifications and Proof of Concepts (POCs). Work closely with Product Business Analysts to define and document both technical and non‑functional requirements. Translate business requirements into user stories and detailed documentation for technical implementation by development teams. Partner with the Software Development Manager and Technical Leads to create low‑level documentation. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on specific software systems, providing technical insights to support effective project delivery. Support all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and production support. Maintain organized and up‑to‑date documentation to ensure technical alignment with system changes. Communicate effectively across teams to foster consistent information sharing and collaboration. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in financial management, engineering, computer science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in technical business analysis within the banking industry. Experience with system analysis of software applications, programs, or web services. Proficiency in the Agile/SCRUM framework, with experience writing user stories and technical documentation. Hands‑on experience across SDLC phases, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment. Strong written, verbal, and email communication skills. Independent, detail‑oriented, and highly organized with strong analytical skills. Axos Employee Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
