About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a dual role as the Director of Global Sales Engineering and Field CTO. This key position involves leading a team of Sales Engineers, with a strong focus on supporting a significant book of business, and serving as the most credible technical voice in front of various stakeholders, including CISOs, product security leaders, and conference audiences. The successful candidate will be a genuine player-coach, capable of both running technical demos and leading a team, and will be responsible for designing and scaling the technical customer-facing function. This includes owning the technical win in sales, refining the sales methodology, and ensuring a seamless transition from technical win to deployment. The role also requires the ability to influence product roadmap and maintain a deep understanding of the company's offerings. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in technical, customer-facing roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling a technical customer-facing function, possess a strong technical background, and demonstrate executive presence in both technical and business conversations. Security domain fluency is essential, with a focus on areas such as software supply chain, malware analysis, and threat intelligence. The role demands excellent communication skills, an AI-forward mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment. Experience in both enterprise sales-led and product-led growth motions, as well as a background in professional services or consulting, is a plus.
