Medical Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) in Everett, WA! This role is in person / onsite . Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Type: Three-month contract, with opportunity for extension or full-time offer
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $22 to $24 per hour (based on experience)


Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:

Patient Care & Clinical Support:

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.

• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, allergies, and chief complaints.

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during patient visits.

• Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as directed.

• Perform EKGs, specimen collection, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.

• Prepare and clean exam rooms while maintaining infection prevention and safety standards.

• Accurately document patient information and clinical activities in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Answer patient phone calls, respond to messages, and assist with appointment coordination.

• Support daily clinic operations to ensure an efficient patient flow.

• Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established timelines.

• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care.

• Prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential required.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Previous Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting preferred.

• Strong communication and multitasking skills.

• Ability to stay organized and complete daily responsibilities before the end of each shift.
