Project Engineer II

The project engineering position requires broad technical knowledge and understanding in mechanical, structural, electrical and ocean engineering fields. The position involves managing technical aspects of offshore umbilical design and manufacturing projects. Cross functional engagement and ability to execute in a team environment interacting with internal departments including project management, procurement, manufacturing and testing as well as external clients, testing facilities, vendors, etc are required. Applicants must be capable of expressing and presenting technical information and ideas both verbally and in writing.Some travel is required.Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products, primarily to the offshore energy industry. Bachelors degree in Mechnical, Electrical, Marine, or Ocean EngineeringMinimum2-5years of engineering experience.Preferred in the oil and gas industry.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures/reports, governmental regulations, client specifications, and industry specifications.Ability to write technical documents of various kinds as well as business or commercial correspondence.
