Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a Labor & Delivery unit position, requiring at least 6 months of current CST L&D experience.

Details

• 13-week travel assignment on a Labor & Delivery unit with 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 for L&D and 3:1 for postpartum per AWHONN guidelines
• Uses Beacon equipment and CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Typical procedures include versions, C-sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&Cs

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months current CST L&D experience required
• BLS certification required
• NBSTA certification must be active
• DORA certification must be active
• State license required if applicable
• LDRP and postpartum experience preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Work alongside a team including charge RNs, L&D RNs, and PP RNs on both day and night shifts
• Candidates should demonstrate a flexible, adaptable, and calm personality fit for the unit
• Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility
