Job Responsibilities

• Schedule production jobs according to inventory management guidelines and ensure inventory levels are within target, making adjustments and modifications as priorities change due to customer demand
• Interface with material handle and engineering personnel to ensure smooth operations and drive timely root cause resolution
• Ensure all MDI safety and quality policies are strictly adhered to operations. Review, correct (audit) material transactions
• Responsible for record keeping including time & attendance and training
• Instill and maintain a positive, engaged and accountable team culture
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing throughput, improving quality, reducing downtime, and optimizing labor utilization through standard work and process improvements
• Leverage data interpretation to achieve closure on initiatives
• Ability to take direction, accept responsibility, provide direction to others and lead by example

Requirements

• Focused individual with ability to make real time decisions with an eye for detail
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor with demonstrated leadership
• Strong verbal, written and organizational skills
• 6+ yrs experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to learn and use various computer programs and systems
• Able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. English fluency required additional Spanish language competency a plus
• Position requires an individual with the ability to work overtime as necessary
• Proven factory experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment

Physical Requirement
