Job Description Unit Secretary - Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital Full Time Days 36 hours per week / 7am -7:30pm About the Department : Join the team at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, a cornerstone of the Downriver community since 1926. Role Overview : As a Unit Secretary, you'll be the backbone of clerical and reception duties for your assigned unit, ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming environment. You'll support healthcare professionals, patients, and visitors, playing a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and excellence of our unit. Your work directly contributes to the seamless delivery of patient care and the overall success of our team. What You Will Do : Manage all clerical and reception duties for your assigned unit. Ensure a welcoming and organized environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Support healthcare professionals by maintaining efficient unit operations. Uphold the Henry Ford Health Systems Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications : High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. One year of experience in a healthcare setting such as a medical office, hospital, or laboratory. Preferred Qualifications : Previous experience as a unit secretary.
