Role Overview

RFO Holdings is seeking a detail‑oriented, hands‑on Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls across a multi‑entity structure. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and plays a key part in supporting investment reporting and analysis, portfolio performance tracking, GAAP reporting, cash flow forecasting, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting — Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; prepare financial statements and Key Performance Indicators.
• Internal Controls — Develop and maintain accounting policies and strengthen internal controls.
• Investment Accounting — Support reporting for investment entities, including capital accounts and valuations.
• Operational Accounting — Oversee AP/AR, reconciliations, payroll accounting, and general ledger accuracy.
• Process Improvement — Enhance workflows, documentation, and reporting automation.
• Cash Flow Support — Assist with cash flow forecasting and treasury administration.
• Budgeting & Planning — Support budgeting and financial planning.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience (candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong capability and growth potential).
• Strong understanding of accounting rules, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with modern accounting systems and multi‑entity environments.
• Detail‑oriented work style with strong organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Practical experience with accounting journal entries, general ledger management, and period-end close activities.
• Knowledge of Fixed Assets, including capitalization, tracking, and depreciation processes.
• Strong skills in applying core financial principles in preparing Financial Statements.
• Experience in private equity, investment management, or multi‑entity corporate structures.
• Demonstrated ability to streamline accounting workflows and modernize systems.
