Leave of Absence Coordinator

Supporting the administration of leave of absence requests, the part-time Leave of Absence Coordinator will manage intake documentation, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements while communicating effectively with employees and relevant parties. Key responsibilities Assist in administering the leave of absence process from initial notice to return to work, including medical and parental leaves Coordinate with Risk Management for Workers' Compensation leave and manage leave-related documentation Act as the point of contact for employees regarding leave requests and status updates, ensuring timely communication and support Required qualifications Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience Minimum of 2 years of HR or leave administration experience, preferably in the retail industry Proficiency with HRIS Systems and Microsoft Office Suite Strong understanding of federal and state leave laws such as FMLA and ADA Previous experience coordinating leave of absence processes for an organization Virtual Vocations Inc
