Position Summary We are seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) Business Unit. In this role you will design, engineer, integrate, operate and maintain electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio‑visual, IT systems, perimeter defense and command‑and‑control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high‑growth markets. Responsibilities Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision. Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits. Installing and maintaining equipment at both the local and global level per design packages. Programming and installation of head‑end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems. Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level. Lead the on‑site software commissioning and testing. Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory, performing take‑off project drawings and creating documents. Document and track RFIs. Design assist and feedback. Documenting daily reports and project progress. Communicating project and team member issues/concerns to management. Create and manage project schedule integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems. Forecast and manage project labor hours, communicating effectively with supervisors and subordinates. Guide and mentor technicians. Qualifications Clearance/Citizen Type : Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, for access to classified information. An active Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Valid driver’s license. Position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy. Education HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours); Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program; Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program; Additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities. Required Progressive Experience 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs. 3 years focused on electronic security systems. Strong oral, written and presentation skills. Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated time‑management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives. Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills is a plus. Must be able to travel 50%. Desired / Advantageous Qualifications Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems, Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems). Possesses good vision (may be corrected vision), ability to see in color, and ability to hear and communicate in English. May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools. Identifies when something is wrong or likely to go wrong.
