Job Info Job Location: Lawrence, Massachusetts Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Temp to Hire Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 1 year Handling: Light Touch Additional Information Non-CDL Touch Freight Driver — $23.60–$24.00 per hour Location: Lawrence, Massachusetts About the Position Our client is seeking Non-CDL Touch Freight Drivers to provide local delivery service throughout New England. This role involves delivering electronics and other products with a high level of care, including white glove service and hands-on loading and unloading. Pay & Schedule Details Pay: $23.60–$24.00 per hour Overtime: Available after 40 hours Schedule: Monday through Friday Start time: 6:00 a.m. Shift length: 8-hour days Job Details Route type: Local routes throughout New England Freight: Electronics and related products Equipment: 16-foot box truck, refrigerated box truck, or cargo van Handling: Touch freight and full white glove delivery service Deliveries may be made to small offices and warehouses Products may be unloaded using a liftgate, electric pallet jack, pallet jack, or hand cart Key Responsibilities Safely operate assigned non-CDL delivery vehicles Load, transport, and unload products throughout New England Perform liftgate and touch freight deliveries Break down pallets and move freight using pallet jacks or hand carts Provide professional white glove service at each delivery location Handle electronics and other products carefully to prevent damage Follow all applicable safety procedures and delivery instructions Minimum Requirements 1 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience At least 3 months of white glove liftgate delivery experience Valid medical card Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Ability to safely lift, move, and unload freight using material-handling equipment Strong customer service and communication skills Benefits Competitive weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Referral Program Why Work With TransForce TransForce connects professional drivers with quality opportunities through a dedicated team that supports you throughout your assignment.
