Job Title: Printing Production Operator
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on printing professional to join our production team. The ideal candidate knows how to keep machines running smoothly, works safely, and understands the importance of tracking output and reducing waste. If you take pride in quality work and like solving mechanical problems, we'd like to hear from you. No calls! Resume and interview required.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor printing equipment to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Review job tickets, production schedules, proofs, samples, and customer specifications before beginning each job
- Follow detailed instructions with accuracy.
- Make color and registration adjustments during make-ready and throughout the production run.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting to reduce downtime.
- Track and record daily productivity, including output, run times, and downtime.
- Collect and report production waste data, and help find ways to reduce it.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members about machine issues, job status, and quality concerns.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a printing or print production environment.
- This is a hands-on production position requiring strong mechanical ability, attention to detail, color-matching skills, and the ability to troubleshoot printing and equipment issues.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong attendance record.
- Mechanically inclined, with the ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments to equipment.
- OSHA safety knowledge
- Experience tracking productivity and production waste data.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed.
Preferred (A Plus)
- Experience operating SOS printing machines.
What We Offer :
· 6:30 A.M- 4: 30 P.M., Monday to Thursday (40 Hours); Friday off; Full-Time Job.
