Job Title: Nursing Administration Profession: Nursing Specialty: Nursing Administration Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 10hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: 2-3 years in an acute care setting preferred License: RN license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: - Critical care experience preferred - Trauma experience in a level 1-2 environment preferred - EPIC experience required Description: This position is in a surgical room environment. The facility is a level 1 trauma center with comprehensive services. There are a significant number of outpatient and inpatient cases. Daily caseload varies, with approximately 60-75 cases. Patient types include trauma cases, general surgeries, gynecology, urology, and orthopedic procedures. There are hybrid rooms that handle both adult and pediatric cases. Experience in hybrid patient types and the use of specific equipment is required. The ideal candidate should be able to scrub and circulate in the operating room. Support on the unit includes educators, resource nurses, and service line representatives. Charting is done using an electronic health record system. Weekend rotation is required, with a schedule that accommodates various shift patterns. On-call requirements may be part of the role, responding within a specified timeframe. All duties must adhere to established policies and protocols.
