Azure Platform Engineer

Leading the architecture and implementation of advanced API and AI platforms, the full-time Principal Azure APIM Platform Engineer will work remotely to drive technical decisions, establish target-state architectures, and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform and Azure DevOps. Key responsibilities Architect and implement next-generation API and AI platforms utilizing Azure API Management and Azure AI Gateway Define target-state architectures for API management, AI gateways, disaster recovery, and security controls Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate and optimize API and AI services while ensuring operational excellence Required qualifications Deep expertise in Azure cloud services, particularly Azure API Management and Azure AI Gateway Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and experience with CI/CD pipelines Strong understanding of platform and API security policies and best practices Experience with observability tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights Excellent collaboration skills and experience leading complex technical projects
