Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring a NC or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work in the ICU of a full-service hospital with 6 ICU beds
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Common diagnoses/treatments include COPD exacerbation
• Uses Meditech EHR system
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• AHA certifications required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services to adult and geriatric ICU patients
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Navy blue scrubs required as part of dress code
• Facility is Joint Commission accredited
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
