Packaging Department Lead

Ensuring daily packaging objectives are achieved and departments are running efficiently Ensuring all packaging activities are compliant with cGMPs, SOPs, and safety policies Reviewing and verifying that all packaging documents are completed in accordance with Company/FDA policies and procedures. Working directly and supporting all personnel to ensure departmental success Assisting with difficult machine trouble shooting Assisting with equipment repair and/or replacement Alerting the Packaging Supervisor of quality issues and assisting with QA investigations and corrective actions are implemented Approve new employee training completion and certification (where applicable) Monitoring and providing the Packaging Supervisor with training progress reports Working with Packaging Supervisor to resolve packaging issues and assist with resolution implementation Maintaining a professional and safe work environment Effectively working, interacting and communicating with co-workers and lead/supervisor.
