Senior Financial Analyst

Overview CIBC Bank USA is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to prepare and review accounting entries for complex financial instruments and investment portfolios. Responsibilities Prepare and review accounting entries for complex financial instruments and investment portfolios. Perform financial and regulatory reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP and IIRFS standards. Monitor and maintain collateral positions and margin movements with trading counterparties and clients. Provide and maintain documentation for internal and external audit requests. Collaborate with risk, treasury, and operations teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues. Analyze balance sheet and P&L variances across products. Identify opportunities to enhance accuracy, automation, and efficiency in accounting and reporting processes. Qualifications Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related quantitative field. Minimum 3 years of experience applying accounting, auditing, and financial reporting principles to track, analyze, reconcile, and report financial activity. Minimum 3 years of experience preparing journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Minimum 3 years of experience performing month‑end close, variance analysis, and financial reporting. Minimum 3 years of experience preparing financial reports and analyses utilizing Financial Edge and QuickBooks. Minimum 3 years of experience using Excel tools including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Index Match. Benefits Competitive salary ($77,938.00 – $115,400.00 per year). Incentive pay.
