Position Overview Mercy is a 25-bed swing‑bed/med‑surg unit dedicated to restoring patients to the highest level of independence in preparation for returning home. Our multidisciplinary team operates in the rural area of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, providing personal, compassionate care. Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care; maintain professional accountability for assigned patients; evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers; coordinate patient care with other departments; uphold patient rights and confidentiality of patient information; and perform duties consistently with Mercy’s mission, values, and service standards. Sign‑On Bonus Incentives New Grad RN: $15,000 Experienced RN (1+ years): $20,000 Qualifications Education Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure Obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state or compatible compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements. Physical Requirements / Demands Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Prolonged standing and walking each shift. Grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties. Certifications Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses) OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) BLS (Basic Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification) Other unit specific certifications as required.
