This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who are comfortable caring for complex, unstable patients across a diverse emergency population.\n Position Details\n Start Date: September 7, 2026\n Contract: 13 weeks\n Schedule: 3x12s or 4x12s\n Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM\n Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week\n 48-hour contracts: Available\n Openings: 10\n Weekend/Holiday: Holiday coverage required\n No Call\n Radius Requirement: Must reside outside a 90-mile radius\n Department\n 118-bed Emergency Department\n Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6\n Mixed-acuity patient population, including:\n Behavioral health\n Boarding patients\n Emergency/trauma cases\n Critically ill and ICU-level patients\n Requirements\n Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience\n Strong critical-care skills\n Experience managing complex and unstable patients\n Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment\n Active Massachusetts RN license\n BLS and ACLS required\n Strong adaptability and clinical judgment\n If you're an experienced ER RN looking for a challenging night-shift assignment with the option for 48 hours, this opportunity is worth considering.\n Patterns Hiring Job ID #299006----P0911.
