You will experience a supportive environment that prioritizes high-quality care and continuous learning.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist licensed Physical Therapists in developing and executing individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the needs of patients recovering from orthopedic conditions.Deliver direct patient care through hands-on therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities that enhance recovery.Continuously monitor patient progress by maintaining accurate records and updating treatment plans based on patient response and feedback.Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs, equipment use, and wellness strategies to promote ongoing recovery.Serve as a resource for patients, addressing their questions and encouraging them throughout the rehabilitation process.Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to discuss patient status, recovery goals, and modification of treatment plans as necessary.Ensure a clean and safe treatment area, adhering to infection control guidelines and maintaining equipment regularly.Patient Population / Client FocusThis role primarily focuses on orthopedic patients, which include individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions related to the musculoskeletal system. The PTA will engage with diverse patient demographics, from young athletes to older adults, necessitating a tailored approach to care that addresses varied physical abilities and goals.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent field is required.Must hold an active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining a professional demeanor.Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to foster effective interactions with both patients and healthcare team members.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic setting.Experience in utilizing electronic health records and documentation systems.Empirical knowledge of current therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies.Compensation and BenefitsThe annual salary for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
