RN - Oncology

Registered Nurse - Infusion Therapy

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30), with no floating, weekends, or holidays required.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to non-oncology infusion patients in the specialties of Rheumatology, Neurology, and Dermatology. The RN will perform IV insertion, manage infusion pumps, and administer injections, ensuring adherence to isolation precautions and infection control measures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer IV therapy and medications as per protocols.
• Monitor patients for reactions and report any adverse events.
• Educate patients about their treatment plans and medication administration.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• A valid NJ or compact nursing license is required at the time of submission.
• Experience with IV insertion and infusion pump management.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only.
