Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,582–$2,616 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour shifts Start date: 08/31/2026 Work setting: Long-term care facility with PACU/SSSU responsibilities and outpatient services scope Responsibilities Provide comprehensive PACU and perioperative nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases, including monitoring for anesthesia-related complications Float to Outpatient Services areas (Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, Pre-operative Clinic) and support conscious sedation procedures as needed Perform nursing assessments, perioperative education, and care planning; recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and postoperative complications Administer medications, monitor vital signs, manage airway and ventilation per protocol, and collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams Maintain documentation in the electronic health record; ensure patient safety and infection control standards; monitor equipment readiness and sterile technique Participate in a shared on-call rotation as part of the schedule Requirements Active Registered Nurse license to practice in the assignment location (as applicable) PACU/SSSU experience with Phase II skills; strong perioperative assessment and education capabilities Ability to float to Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, Pre-operative Clinic; support conscious sedation procedures Demonstrated ability to recognize post-anesthesia and postoperative complications and respond appropriately Availability for a 4-10 shift pattern with shared on-call rotation; flexibility for variable scheduling Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program Benefits and Support 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 13-week assignment Travel and onboarding support through Healthforce Healthcare LLC Dedicated recruiter and assignment team for ongoing support Access to credentialing and onboarding assistance during the assignment Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
