Registered Nurse, Float Pool (Med Surg/ICU) Level III
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse for our Float Pool (Med Surg/ICU) Level III who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Registered Nurse, Float Pool Level III you will:
- Assessment, planning, intervention & evaluation of patient care at the bedside.
- Documentation of patient care and outcomes.
- Delegation of tasks to non-licensed personnel.
- Serves as a preceptor or mentor for new staff, externs or students.
- Participates in unit quality initiatives.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team in patient care planning.
- Pursues professional development and growth.
Qualifications include:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- 1 year of experience in (ICU/Med Surg).
- Current Maryland State nursing license.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Work Schedule:
RN Level III Float Pool rate of $70/hour with commitment of [3] 12-hour shifts/week (days).
Employment Type: Per Diem Level III
- Hours per Week: 36 hrs/week
- Typical Daily Schedule: 6:45a-7:15p
- Shift Type: Days
- Weekend Requirements: Commitment is a minimum of 1 Sunday, 1 Monday, 1 Friday and 1 Saturday within a 4-week scheduling period.
- Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday calendar
Pay Range:
If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:
United States of America (Non-Exempt)
