Job Description
Lead the preparation and review of operating partnership tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Provide strategic tax planning advice to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes. Collaborate with internal teams to manage tax audits and resolve complex tax issues effectively. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant with all requirements. Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with the organization's financial goals. Mentor and guide junior tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Collaborate with external advisors and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to best practices and compliance standards. Prepare and present tax-related reports and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Partnership Tax Director should have: Strong expertise in operating partnership or management company taxation and financial services tax regulations. A CPA or equivalent professional qualification. Proven ability to manage and execute complex tax strategies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and present insights clearly. Leadership abilities to guide and mentor a team of tax professionals. Proficiency in tax software and financial tools to streamline processes.
