Location: Brooklyn, NY Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 58-Hour Days Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Hours per Week: 40 Hours Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on Facility Requirements

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong experience performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care and image accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors.
• Ensure all radiographic images are properly labeled according to department SOP.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and transmit images to PACS in a timely manner.
• Ensure all studies are completed and documented in IDX.
• Accurately record required patient tracking information.
• Follow department policies and maintain quality standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mammography Radiologic Technologist.
• Must possess a valid New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Current ARRT registration required.
• Must maintain MQSA requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively and efficiently.
