Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,084–$2,243 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts, weekends included Start date: 10/07/2026 Work setting: emergency department travel assignment Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in the emergency department Triage patients and determine priority of care based on acuity, presenting symptoms, and safety considerations Perform focused assessments, administer medications, start/maintain IVs, collect specimens, and manage wounds as directed Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, evidence-based care Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record, uphold hospital policies, and operate within the Nurse Practice Act Assist with patient movement, procedures, and ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available for care delivery Communicate effectively with patients and families, addressing questions and providing clear explanations of care plans Requirements Active Colorado RN license BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire TNCC required upon hire or within 1 year; ENPC or PALS required within 6 months; ENPC preferred At least 2 years of critical care nursing experience preferred ER/acute care experience preferred Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts, including weekends, and meet the assignment’s guaranteed hours Education: current RN degree (as required by state licensure in Colorado) Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours Weekly pay 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support Extension opportunities Travel coordination and logistics assistance Nationwide assignment opportunities About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
