Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Located in an undefined setting, this position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency room. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Job Details

• Position Description: This role involves assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. It includes reviewing patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, and reporting abnormal results to physicians and caregivers. Formulating a patient-centered plan of care and discharging planning in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team is essential.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice or a temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure; BLS certification; experience in an acute care hospital or ER environment; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role involves direct patient care, coordination, delegation, supervision of activities, documentation, and participation in research or professional development activities. The nurse will interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams, contributing to excellent patient outcomes through timely and safe care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing and professional certification are preferred.
