Position Overview
As a CVICU Registered Nurse, you will deliver critical care to patients with severe cardiovascular conditions, including those recovering from cardiac surgery or managing advanced heart and vascular diseases. This specialized role requires advanced clinical skills, precision, and the ability to respond swiftly in high-pressure situations to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise in cardiovascular care will play a vital role in helping patients on their path to recovery.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions, including post-operative cardiac surgery patients
• Operate and interpret advanced monitoring equipment, such as EKGs, arterial lines, and pulmonary artery catheters
• Administer specialized medications, IV therapies, and life-support treatments as required
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, post-treatment care, and recovery processes
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in compliance with facility protocols
