We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Cabinet Maker/Millworker/Laminator/Woodworker with solid surface experience to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production process in the manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain laminating and cutting machinery to ensure consistent quality of laminated products.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to specifications.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on machinery as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to execute tasks accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Keep accurate records of materials used and production output.
- Solid surface experience
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably in fabrication, woodworking, or lamination.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with tools like saws, drills, and laminating machines. Knowledge of various materials and adhesives used in lamination.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and precision in work.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and propose solutions.
- Teamwork: Must work well in a team environment, contributing to a positive work culture.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
