HRIS Specialist

We are looking for an HRIS Specialist to join our Human Resources team! The ideal candidate will serve as the subject matter expert for Workday HCM and all related modules, playing a pivotal role in transforming how we manage and interact with HR data. This role leads process development, support system implementation, and partners with leaders and employees to ensure effective adoption and use of Workday. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Workday configuration and collaborate with HR, business leaders, IT, and consultants to define requirements and design workflows. Oversee data migration, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integration with legacy systems. Serve as Workday subject matter expert, providing training, guidance, and ongoing support for HR and business teams. Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and organizational policies. Manage daily HRIS operations, including user access, data accuracy, and system performance. Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity across HR functions. Troubleshoot issues, perform system updates, and recommend process improvements. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in HRIS roles, with direct experience implementing or supporting an HRIS; preferred Workday experience. Strong understanding of HR processes, data management, and system configuration. Proven experience with data analysis, migration, validation, and technical documentation. Ability to document technical concepts and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Process-oriented, collaborative, and committed to improving efficiency, accuracy and employee experience through technology. PAY RANGE AND COMPENSATION PACKAGE Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
