Environmental Services Aide - Residential

An overview of this position entails. This position is responsible for keeping office buildings, apartment complexes, commercial or institutional buildings, restrooms, private and common areas, and outdoor program areas in clear and orderly condition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. General cleaning and disinfecting, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting of residential and commercial buildings, common and dining areas. 2. Deep cleaning as needed and requested. 3. Provide coverage as requested for corporate-wide call-offs when they occur. 4. Remove soiled linens from client apartments and return clean linens. 5. Wash, dry, and fold laundry, including rags and mop heads. 6. Empty trash receptacles, including all wastebaskets and ash containers; clean ashtrays and transport trash to disposal areas. 7. Stock and replenish supplies in restrooms, laundry rooms, and other areas as needed. 8. Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping cart and assigned equipment. 9. Maintain outside grounds as well as areas around dumpsters by removing trash, sweeping, and assisting with snow removal when necessary. 10. Troubleshoot any situations that may arise and utilize appropriate resources when necessary. 11. Report damaged or improperly working equipment and property promptly using the work order process. 12. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and drapes. 13. Sweep, scrub, strip, wax, and polish hard floor surfaces. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

No experience or education is required for this position.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

• Driver's License (preferred)
• Hilltop Driver's Certification (preferred; required if assigned to operate

Hilltop vehicle)

• CPR Certificate/First Aid Certificate (preferred)
• OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Training (preferred)
• OSHA Hazard Communication Training (preferred)
