General Superintendent - Data Center Construction - Multiple Locations Projects in Virginia, Ohio, Texas, Pennsylvania A leading national construction organisation is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to oversee the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical Data Center projects across North America. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected builder with a strong pipeline of hyperscale and enterprise Data Center developments. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role on complex projects, driving safety, quality, programme execution, and field operations from pre-construction through handover. Key Responsibilities Provide overall field leadership for large-scale Data Center construction projects. Manage and coordinate site superintendents, trade partners, and subcontractor activities. Drive a culture of safety excellence and ensure compliance with all site safety requirements. Oversee project schedules, sequencing, logistics planning, and resource allocation. Lead daily coordination meetings and ensure effective communication across project stakeholders. Monitor quality standards and ensure construction activities meet project specifications. Partner closely with project management teams to proactively identify and resolve project risks. Support commissioning, turnover, and client handover processes. Requirements Extensive experience leading large commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or Data Center construction projects. Demonstrated success managing projects exceeding $100M in value. Strong understanding of structural, MEP, commissioning, and site operations. Proven ability to lead large field teams and multiple subcontractors simultaneously. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Experience working within fast-paced, schedule-driven environments. OSHA certification and commitment to world-class safety performance preferred.
