CMA/LPN - Northwest Clinic - Walk-In

Retention Bonus Up to $5,000.00 for eligible external candidates. Only external candidates are eligible for the bonus. Amount based on years of experience. Position Overview At the Great Falls Clinic Hospital, we pride ourselves on providing high quality care and exceptional service to our patients. Responsibilities CMA: Assist in examination, treatment or diagnostic procedures as requested (after proven competency) of clinic patients under physician direction following established standards and practices. CMA: Function as the primary liaison between patients, staff and providers. CMA: Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of the patient. CMA: Take vital signs, triage patient calls, refill prescriptions, complete necessary prior authorizations, and help support the team. CMA: Give direction to CNAs and schedulers; receive direction from providers, nurses, coordinators, clinical managers/supervisors, and RNs. LPN: Provide nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices, within scope of licensure. LPN: Function as the primary liaison between patients, staff and providers. LPN: Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of the patient. LPN: Take vital signs, triage patient calls, refill prescriptions, complete necessary prior authorizations, and help support the team. LPN: Give direction to CNAs and schedulers; receive direction from providers, coordinators, clinical managers/supervisors, and RNs. Education CMA: Appropriate licensure/certification; maintain current continuing education requirements per state/federal. LPN: Graduate of a nursing program; maintain current continuing education requirements per state/federal. License/Certifications CMA: BLS (Basic Life Support); graduate of a medical assisting program and have passed the CMA/RMA Certification Examination of the AAMA or AMT and maintain currency of the credential. LPN: Current state LPN license; BLS from a college of technology/nursing; maintain current continuing education requirements per state/federal. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities CMA: Medical terminology; basic medical assistant principles and procedures; keyboarding skills; basic office skills. LPN: Medical terminology; basic nursing principles and procedures; keyboarding skills; basic office skills. Pre-employment Screening Requirements Criminal background check. Drug screening.
